About the Event
Join your fellow University of Iowa College of Engineering alumni for a tour of the University Water Plant and for some, your former workplace. Relive the good memories of the sedimentation basin and gravity filters. Tour and learn about the plant’s latest improvements while networking with staff and guests.
Tours will take approximately 30-40 minutes and are available between the hours of 1:00pm and 3:00pm. You must register to secure your space as there are only 40 spaces available for the tour. Please wear closed toe shoes, this is an operating plant. Additional safety gear will be provided, as needed, at the site.
